Crow Cams release LS1 & L98 Vernier Gears
Fine tuning LS1and L98 cam timing has just got a whole lot easier with the release of single row billet Vernier timing gears from Crow Cams.
The Vernier gear allows up to 5 degrees of advance or retard quickly and easily making it an excellent development tool for new cam and tuning combinations and also an easy cam adjustment tool when the complete gear set is not being replaced.
Adjustment is achieved using cap screws over specially designed washers to prevent tension loss. The cam gears are available in three bolt design suitable for all LS1 and LS6 engines part Number CS8LS1-SRV and single bolt design suitable for the L98 engines, part Number CS8L98-SRV.
